Pianist

Ruslan Avdyugin was born on December 2, 2014 in Odessa (Ukraine). He started playing piano at the age of five. Having demonstrated extraordinary abilities in learning the piano, possessing absolute pitch and creative talent, at the age of 6 he entered the Odessa School of Arts No. 11 (class of piano teacher Y.S. Zabairatskaya). After the start of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, fate separates the student from his teacher, who was forced to leave the country. In 2023, Ruslan enters the Odessa State Musical Lyceum named after Professor P.S. Stolyarsky, in the special piano class (teacher Z.N. Pokrovskaya). At the beginning of 2024, Ruslan also begins studying under the guidance of O.O. Efremova - senior lecturer in the special piano department of the Odessa National Music Academy named after A.V. Nezhdanova. In the same year, Ruslan makes his debut on the stage of the Odessa Regional Philharmonic Society named after David Oistrakh, performing with the chamber orchestra the I, II, III parts of the concerto for keyboard and orchestra Nº5 in F minor, BWV 1056, J.S. Bach. In 2025, Ruslan again performs with the Odessa Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra, performing the 1st part of the Concerto No. 1 for piano and orchestra in D minor, BWV 1052, by J.S. Bach.
Since the age of 7, Ruslan has been constantly performing at various concerts, taking part in television shows, articles about him are published in the Ukrainian and foreign press, including the Pianist Magazine. As of May 2025, Ruslan is the winner of 25 Grand Prix awards at Ukrainian and international piano competitions, as well as a laureate of many piano competitions in countries such as the Ukraine, USA, Italy, Spain, Israel, Germany, Finland, Austria, France, Romania, etc.
On May 26, 2025, Ruslan's first solo concert will take place in the Great Hall of the Odessa National Music Academy named after A. V. Nezhdanova. The program will feature works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Ludwig van Beethoven, Fryderyk Chopin, Claude Debussy, Isaak Yakovich Berkovich.
